Our Physical Therapy Services
Physical Therapy
Our physical therapy treatments focus on a variety of orthopedic conditions, acute and chronic pain, sports injury, and post-surgery treatments, from head to toe. We use a combination of manual therapy, dry needling, therapeutic exercise, and neuromuscular rehabilitation based on the patient’s specific needs and goals.
60-Minute Sessions
Dry Needling
Integrative dry needling is not acupuncture. It is based on neuro-anatomy and modern scientific study of the musculoskeletal and neuromuscular systems. A very fine filament needle is inserted through the skin and into the deeper tissues that are considered trigger points to your pain.
Dry needling works by causing a micro lesion within the pathological tissue thus breaking up shortened tissues, inhibiting a reflex arc from the nervous system to the tissue, normalizing the inflammatory response, and centrally mediating the pain. This mechanical and neuromuscular effect provides an environment that enhances the body’s ability to heal which ultimately reduces pain.
30-Minute Sessions
Telehealth Physical Therapy
The solution for individuals who prefer the comfort of their home/office or have difficulty traveling. After a thorough evaluation via video on your phone or computer, you will be prescribed a set of home exercises that you will be carefully guided through and will be modified as your treatment progresses.
60-Minute Sessions
Functional Movement Screen (FMS / SFMA)
We are FMS (Functional Movement Screen) and SFMA (Selective Functional Movement Assessment) certified. Through a series of specific movement patterns, we can identify areas of sub-optimal movement that may be the source of your pain or may result in injury down the road through compensatory movements.
