Physical Therapy FAQ

  • Currently we do not accept insurance.

  • Our PT is Direct Access licensed, meaning you can see us prior to receiving a referral from your medical doctor.

  • This varies between clients and the reason for the visit. It can range from needing just 1 evaluation session to 3 times per week for a few months.

  • Our initial evaluations generally last 75 minutes. Follow up appointments are 60 minutes long.

  • Appointments may be cancelled without charge if we are notified more than 24 hours ahead. If you are running late to your appointment, that’s OK! Just send a message letting us know.

  • Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing and a pair of rubber-soled sneakers. Every treatment course begins with a comprehensive evaluation. Our PT will advise you on how to dress for subsequent appointments depending on the established care plan.

  • Yes, physical therapy can be effective in managing chronic pain conditions such as arthritis, fibromyalgia, and lower back pain. Your therapist will develop a plan that may include pain management strategies, exercise, and manual techniques to alleviate your symptoms.

  • Our practice is dedicated to providing personalized, evidence-based care. We provide one-on-one sessions where you’ll have the undivided attention of the physical therapist. We prioritize your comfort and well-being throughout your journey to recovery.

  • Open communication is essential. Please don't hesitate to ask questions or voice concerns at any time during your treatment. Your therapist is here to support you and make adjustments to your treatment plan as needed.

Massage FAQ

  • We offer a wide range of massage modalities, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Hot Stone, Aromatherapy, and Prenatal massages. Our experienced therapists will work with you to determine the best option for your specific needs.

  • Our standard massage sessions are either 60 minutes or 90 minutes long. However, we can accommodate shorter or longer sessions upon request.

  • You should undress to your level of comfort. Most clients choose to undress completely, but you can also leave on your underwear if you prefer. Rest assured, you will be properly draped throughout the session to ensure your privacy.

  • Yes, we do not accept walk-ins and appointments are by reservation only. You can schedule an appointment by clicking “Book Now” at the top of the page.

  • It's best to arrive a few minutes early to complete any necessary paperwork and allow time for a brief consultation with your therapist. Avoid heavy meals and alcohol consumption right before your session, and be sure to communicate any specific concerns or preferences with your therapist.

  • At this time both of our massage therapists are female. If you have any concerns, we encourage you to read our reviews on Google as we have an excellent record of treating patients of every gender. Of course, we respect each individual’s right to decide what they are comfortable with.

  • Tipping is not required, but it is appreciated. If you are satisfied with your massage experience, a typical tip ranges from 15% to 20% of the service cost.

  • In most cases, massage therapy can be adapted to accommodate various medical conditions or injuries. However, it's crucial to inform your therapist of any health concerns or medical conditions so they can tailor the session to your specific needs safely.

  • We understand that circumstances can change. We kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment to avoid a cancellation fee. Please refer to our booking policy for more details.
